3 steps to better interviews as a candidate

Research the company – Everyone should know the basics of the company they’re interviewing for.  Did you know their core values or core purpose?  What do you know about their culture or charitable contributions?  Take the time to research their website as well as their social media to understand their core function and also what they value.  Then demonstrate how you would fit into their existing culture.

Use SPAR– Set the Scene, Describe the Purpose, What Action did you complete? What was the Result?
Prepare these ahead of time, anticipate interview questions about the role and recollect moments from your comment that could help answer typical questions

Show your Personality – Doing research on the company and the interview panel (LinkedIn and other social media can tell you what they value) will allow you to know that you would like to work with them.  It can also give you a roadmap to demonstrate your personality and connect with the interview panel.
